Siniat Spanshield is standard 10mm plasterboard made from a core of gypsum sandwiched between two layers of heavy-duty recycled paper. The face paper is coloured ivory ready for paint or wall paper finish.
Siniat Spanshield is used as an internal wall and ceiling lining, suitable for residential and commercial applications. Designed to span internal ceiling joists or furring channels up to 600mm without sagging, it is particularly suited as an internal ceiling lining.
Applications:
- Particularly suited for use in residential ceilings.
- Usually installed using the screw and adhesive method onto steel or timber ceiling framing.
Benefits:
- One 10mm board which can be used for both walls and ceilings
- Can span 600mm centres on ceilings
- Large sheet sizes are available to minimise joints for a better finish.
