Applications

Fibertex 650 is designed for use in applications that do not exceed 650°C operating temperatures. It is ideal for use with plant and equipment in process temperature control, energy conservation, condensation prevention, acoustic absorption treatment and staff protection. Methods usually include:

Bradford Fibertex 650 can be easily installed by attaching batts or blankets to weld pins and securing them with speed clips. The Rock-wool Batt or Blanket’s unfaced surface is to be applied to the insulated hot surface. Wire mesh or metal bands may simply maintain the insulation on small vessels. In acoustic panel applications, the dimensions of the cavity do not exceed the thickness of the component.
